Tournament Format
Exhibition Round
All teams play 2 exhibition games to determine their seeding for elimination rounds.
Bracket
Teams are seeded 1–8 and placed into a single-elimination bracket.
Match Format
- Best of 3 sets (No wins by two)
- Sets 1–2: First to 15
- Set 3: First to 11
Team Rules
Each team must have a mininimum 6 Players and 2 optional subs. There must be at least 2 female players on each team.
Volleyball Rules
- Teams must have a minimum of 6 players 2 of which are females. 1 of the females must always be on the court.
- A player may not block, spike or double fist to return a serve.
- The serve is allowed to contact the net. (e.g. a serve contacting the top of the net and goes over the net; it is still in play).
- A player is allowed to volley a serve and is allowed to volley any ball over the net. When volleying, you do not have to be square to the path of the ball.
- Open hand tips and directs are allowed.
- If a player blocking touches the ball on the block, it is not counted as the first touch. The blocker may play the ball off his/her own block. These two contacts are counted as one touch.
- Players may play the ball off any part of their body. Please be careful should you decide to kick the ball.
- Players may not touch the net at any time during play.
- A ball hitting a boundary line is in.
- It is illegal to catch, hold or throw the ball
- After the serve, front-line players may switch positions at the net.
- Rotate positions clockwise after team wins serve back.
- Everybody but the server can be substituted when in possession of the ball. No subs without possession except for injuries.
- Referee decisions are final
